On April 3, Bob Tousignant <btousignant@cc.atinc.com> posed an innocent question to the Shot-of-Rhythm list members:
What is the single best album? (No boots, please - wouldn't be fair!) What is the single best song?
Seems like an obvious question, but nobody had asked it before on the list. For the next several days, the list was awash with messages. Lots of favorites, lots of great stories about the favorites, and lots of agonizing over picking just one.
Below is Bob's tabulation of our favorites. Following that, Bertram Mourits <bertram.mourits@let.ruu.nl> re-tabulated the numbers cross-checking favorite songs against albums.

BTW, if you noticed, ``Thing Called Love'', while it may be a lot of people's first taste of JH (via Bonnie), did not even get named once.
Since I have to admit that I don't have ``Riding with the King'' or earlier efforts, (yet :-) ), I couldn't do a total tally on favorite songs by album. In other words, if you added up the points by album, would BTF still win?? Volunteers?.....
