Candidate Questionnaire

This questionnaire is being mailed to every City Council candidate. Non-response or late responses will be considered as a "no" to all three questions. Responses must be sent to the League of Bicycling Voters by April 10, 1997. Answers may be published.

1. If elected to office, will you sponsor a repeal of the Bicycle Helmet Ordinance?

Yes.

2. If elected to office, will you vote for a repeal of the Bicycle Helmet Ordinance?

Yes.

3. If elected to office, will you work to secure funding for bicycle lanes and improvements to the bicycling infrastructure?

Yes.

Elaboration is welcome but may not be published due to lack of space.

I would support a helmet requirement for those 18 years or 16 years and under.
