Abolish the Corruption Tax	Why is Kirk Watson willing to spend half a million dollars to buy a job that pays $35,000 a year? Why are rich fat-cats -- who don't even live in Austin! -- showering him with cash? Maybe Kirk just has lots of buddies who will give him $5,000 gifts, just for being such a swell guy. Or, maybe somebody is angling for one of those juicy $900/hour consulting contracts. A half a million dollars! All spent on slick consultants and silly TV ads. It's so disgusting, the only thing you can do is laugh about it. (32KB GIF image)
Hand Thrown Tomatoes	Were you listening to the Sammy and Bob show on Thursday, April 3? Max was on, and he played a tape of a snappy little tune about -- believe it or not! -- campaign finance reform. We've come to call this song "Hand Thrown Tomatoes."
Happy Birthday, Max	On March 20, Max's nearest and dearest and most musical friends all piled into La Zona Rosa to celebrate his birthday. A good time was had by all.
